Ligon CRE and its Associates are proud to support local philanthropic endeavors as a steward of the community. In 2011, Ligon CRE is honored to partner with a new international ministry to African nations like Tanzania which have extraordinarily high refugee and orphan populations.

Orphans to Ambassadors (O2A) International mission statement is as follows:

"Orphans to Ambassadors is dedicated to providing disadvantaged children and children without families the opportunity to gain the skills, knowledge, abilities, and empowerment to rise out of poverty and compete in a globalizing world. Furthermore, O2A is committed to sustainable practices and education, and promotes the idea of these children rising to the ranks of leaders, role models, and sustainable educators who can go on to serve as ambassadors to disadvantaged children and communities around the world."

Ligon CRE has committed to funding O2A in order to providing funding for PORTABLE WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEMS that are solar powered, and will be delivered to villages in African nations in order to provide clean water for the population. Each system is solar-powered and can produce more than 100 gallons per day of clean water.
